Racing Welfare is a national charity supporting horseracing’s current and retired workforce.  We seek a creative, dynamic Trust Fundraising Executive to join our small, high-performing Fundraising team, based across the UK.

It’s an exciting time to be joining the organisation; our charity has never been more needed by the industry, and after a period of rapid growth we have great plans for the future.

Working with the Fundraising Manager, you will play a key role in developing and managing relationships with new and existing trust supporters, as well as researching and prospecting new opportunities. The role will work closely with both our Welfare and Communications teams to optimise applications and reports for funders.

You will be a highly proactive individual, responsible for producing engaging, high-quality grant applications and reports, ensuring that they comply with all current fundraising regulation and guidance, as well as UK GDPR. It is essential that you have some previous experience of working with trusts and foundations and a good understanding of the charitable and voluntary sectors.

The post holder will require excellent written communication skills, a keen eye for detail, as well as an ability to work well to tight deadlines. An interest in both horseracing and social welfare, is essential.

This is a full-time post, flexible on location, although some travel throughout the UK may be required. We welcome enquiries from everyone and value diversity in our workforce.

Closing date:  6th July. We reserve the right to bring forward the closing date if we receive a large number of suitable applications.

Racing Welfare is committed to safeguarding and will always recruit all personnel in line with government guidelines, relevant legislation, and the Charity Commission's best practice guidance.

This post is not exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. We only ask applicants to disclose convictions which are not yet spent under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974
